GD is conducted to see your behavior, test your general knowledge and your
communication skills with your confidence, when you are in a group, especially a
group of unknown people with a similar level of intellect and knowledge,
competing for a common aim and goal. Mostly the group discussion topics are on
current affairs, latest trends or you can also include social issues.
If I have to sum up the topics for the GROUP discussion round, I would give the
reference of the PESTLE management i.e.

It is very common to use political issues and connect them to the problems that
society is facing, political factors also include change of government policies and
laws, taxation policies, and budgetary stuff, international trade laws, trade
restrictions, and even environmental laws and then give a topic to the applicants
in order for them to choose for the motion or to go against it.

Most of the time these are connected to the problems which are aroused by the
political issues and are about the market, economy, or the household population
of the country. IT CAN BE ABOUT BOOM OR RECESSION PERIODS, INFLATION,
